You can't imagine how happy I am that I managed to complete Holy Vision (see:
[link] ).
The success that comes from this feeling is quite... great. The first milestone to my world is set. It took me too long, but it is finally done.
The next few days I am going to roll some ideas around in my head and set up a more detaield concept for the next story. I already know some details, and I think I am going to teaser you a bit.
Spoiler do not read on, if you don't want to be spoilered.

The first thing I can tell you is, this new story will be set considerably in the future compared to the first story. Quite a lot of things have happened since then. Malabeth is no longer a priestess of the Demonspider, but serves the entity she has seen in her vision ( See Holy Vision pt 1-4 ).
Malabeth has come into conflict with a goddess of Undeath and Passion. The problem is, that Malabeth as well as the goddess are very proud creatures. And one of them - ooohkay, it's bvious anyway - Malabeth didn't shut her mouth when she had to. Thus she was banished by her won goddess to teach her a lesson.
Without help she has been sent into the realm of eternal ice. Her equipment is far from perfect for this operation. But this will give me the possibility to introduce another character, as it would be a little illogical for Malabeth to survive this icy hell.
The new character is a wildelf. In my world wildelves worship the spirits of all things and concepts, an animistic system of belief that extends well beyond the normal concept of the classical four elements: water, fire, earth and air. Their power combined with these spirits is quite strong, and some go further than that, by allowing themselves to become one with the spirits. They share their powers and minds. The effects can be strange and those who are not strong enough will be devoured in the process. Their mind merges with the spirit and no one can tell anymore, who is the elf, and who is the spirit.
The wildelves are indeed a wild race, seen by many as uncivilized and barbaric. They shun clothing, and weapons fascinate them, because usually strong spirits surround these tools. They learn their beauty and dangers by working with them. They expect their culture to be accepted by others, and of course it mostly is not that easy. Or what would you say, when you see someone like this:

That picture there is likewise my inspiration for Tanya.
... I could tell so much more, but I think I will allow you to experience the realm of eternal ice all by yourself, by writing the story. I'll keep you posted on things I plan and how I think they work out.
